Challenge Galway Trip Terms and Conditions

Please review our terms and conditions carefully. We make every effort to work with our clients to ensure a smooth travel experience, and that includes payment schedules and reasonable terms and conditions to travel. 


To reserve space for Challenge Galway 2016, a $500 per-person deposit is required. After initial deposit is made, we will invoice the balance due in two additional installments: Nov. 1, and final invoice on Jan. 31, 2016. On or after Feb. 1, 2016, all monies are fully non-changeable and non-refundable.

Cancellations are very costly for international travel and usually do not occur in time for re-sale of the cancelled accommodation and services. If cancellation is received in writing to RaceQuest Travel before February 1, 2016, the non-refundable, non-transferable deposit ($500 per person) will be retained. For cancellations received on or after February 1, 2016, once final payment has been made, a 100% cancellation fee will apply. Leaving a trip in progress, for any reason whatsoever, will not result in a refund, and no refunds will be made for any unused portions of a trip. No refunds will be given for unused hotel rooms, meals, sightseeing trips, or other tour arrangements. 

After making a reservation, the participant will receive confirmation of trip deposit. All pre-trip information, invoices, insurance information, a detailed Traveler Information Form (including a Release From Liability Agreement that you must sign and return to us), and other information needed to prepare for the trip will be provided to you. Final itinerary details will be sent to each client at least three weeks prior to departure.


We will not be responsible for providing any reimbursement for delays in the trip due to bad weather, transportation delays beyond our control, or government intervention. Regarding all transfers, it is the responsibility of all athletes and guests to be at the communicated meeting place at the appointed time whenever shuttle or transfer services are indicated. We will not provide any reimbursement for any services offered but not utilized by client, including transfers. While we will do everything possible to maintain our listed prices, if it is necessary to levy a surcharge, we reserve the right to do so, and notification will be given prior to final invoicing.

All of our accommodations (hotels, cabins, guest houses, tents, etc.) are based on double occupancy, as noted in our brochures ("Twin Share"). If the participant prefers single accommodations, he/she must pay a single supplement fee, or "Single Occupancy" rate, which is listed in the trip brochure. If the participant is traveling alone and wishes to share accommodations, we can assign him/her a roommate of the same gender upon written request. If there is no one with whom the participant can share, he/she is required to pay the single traveler fee.


The itineraries, staff, and services presented in this website and our promotional materials (brochures, emails, and social media notices) are subject to modification and change. We reserve the right, without penalty, to make changes in a published itinerary whenever, in our judgment, conditions warrant, or if we deem it necessary for the comfort, convenience, or safety of participants.
